We were dying to publish this post. Today we reveal Santiago and Marí Carmen’s wedding, celebrated in the Hermitage of El Rocío, Huelva. We’ve been to El Rocio a number of times, but never with someone who knew the area so well. On one of our visits to the village we were captivated by just how special El Rocío is; it’s unique for its streets, its views of the marshes, its houses (true palaces inside), the atmosphere…we were simply enchanted.
Marí Carmen wore a beautiful dress from the designer Rosa Cuervas. The bride’s entrance into the Hermitage of El Rocío was spectacular; Carmen left us speechless. She was glowing, simply radiant; it was a fairy-tale dress and she looked gorgeous.
Santiago travelled to Madrid on various occasions to find the perfect suit for his wedding day. He wanted a well-cut suit. He chose Scalpers on Calle Velazquez, Madrid and his tailor was Borja Martín Caro. Santiago looked extremely elegant! The suit fitted him like a glove.
Santiago and Marí Carmen’s wedding was a true Andalusian wedding seen so little nowadays. Now everyone wants a Pinterest wedding. Santiago and Marí Carmen are Andalusians through and through, and although they live in Seville, they would die for El Rocío, and we travelled there just so that they could say their “I do’s”.
We hope you like it. We adore these photographs from Gerardo Morillo and the video by Producciones Ojeda.
