The luxury wedding in Seville of Nicole and Christophe
Nicole and Christophe dreamt of a luxury wedding in Seville and they chose us to make it true. Every time we remember their Big Day we get a little bit emotional: it was such a special marriage, partly because they love each other so much. Besides, the relationship we built with them was unique. They trust us since the very first moment they hired our services and it showed in the final result.
This lovely couple lives in Canada and they chose our hometown as the perfect meeting point for their guests, keeping in mind they would come from different countries all over the world. We’ll never forget when we met and Christophe’s parents for the first time at Hotel Colón Gran Meliá in our hometown.
We teleworked with them for more than a year. Meanwhile, we exchanged hundreds of email and we planned loads of Skype meetings at 6 a.m because of the time difference. Despite that, this is the perfect example to show you that a bunch of miles won’t stop us from planning the perfect wedding for you. Of course, we have to say that’s possible for us because we only work on 15 weddings per season, so that gives us the chance of personalizing every detail of the event.
Nicole and Christophe’s venue: Villa Luisa
When we imagine the perfect venue for a luxury wedding in Seville, we immediately think about Villa Luisa. This impressive palace house was built for the Ibero-American fair of 1929 and it has these incredible gardens that left Nicole and Christophe speechless. There, we also celebrated Amanda and Toni’s wedding back in 2018.
Although Villa Luisa is one of our favorite places to get married in Seville, in Weddings With Love, as luxury wedding planners, we have to tell you that there are more palace-houses in the city center and also a lot of incredible haciendas just a few minutes away from the city.
Decoration and gastronomy
For their luxury wedding in Seville, Nicole and Christophe wanted the very best vendors. They knew how they wanted to enjoy their Big Day with their guests and we tried our best to guide them to hire the perfect team to make it work as they expected.
For the decoration, they of their special day, they counted with our services. We chose a color palette they could identify with Seville: orange, amber, pipeclay, and blue tones. Furthermore, they decided to get married on the 11th of May, which coincide with the week of Seville’s Fair, so our city was full of color by then. The final touch was the customized bread plate made by Graciela, one of the best ceramics artists in Spain. This was also the gift the guests received from the couple.
Liz Griffith was in charge of the floral arrangements, which looked amazing. She followed a minimal style that combined perfectly with de decorative project we created for the couple.
For us, gastronomy is very important and Nicole and Christophe totally agreed with us. They had vegan, vegetarian, pescetarian, and gluten-free options so everybody could enjoy dinner. We can tell that everything was delicious!
Although we are used to planning weddings for more than 600 invitees and to working with a lot of people from staff, their Big Day was pretty special because of the different menus that were served. We had to control everything: from where the menu cards were placed to where every guest was seated, keeping in mind Nicole and Christophe had long tables for their wedding. Thanks to the teamwork, everything was perfect!
A little party (and a post-wedding brunch) never killed nobody!
Nicole and Christophe are music lovers, like the WWL team, so for their party, we hired a DJ that came from London just for their Big Day. Of course, he made them dance the night away!
In Weddings With Love, we think that having great music for the party is the key point for it to be a success. That is reason why we are used to working with DJs from all over the world: Ibiza, Berlin, Marbella…
And just when you think they couldn’t do it better, they decided to host a post-wedding brunch at an incredible hotel which has one of the best views of Seville. What else can we ask for a destination wedding? Nicole, Christophe, and their family and friends had the complete experience and enjoyed our city for almost a week. Their Big Day wasn’t just that, it was an experiential wedding.
When we describe ourselves as luxury wedding planners it is because we truly believe that every detail of the wedding counts to make it an unforgettable experience. We were the first organizers that started a business in our hometown in 2013 and after all of this time, we’ve also become the only experts in luxury weddings in Seville.
