Hello!
Today we’re going to tell you all about our celebration of the Official Launch of “Wedding Planner, el libro para organizar una boda” – the book for organising a wedding.
You’re probably aware that our book, “Wedding Planner”, came on sale at the end of 2015. Well, these last few months, our heads have not stopped whirling, thinking about the best way to celebrate its official launch. April 27th was the date set aside to celebrate the successful release of our book.
The location could not have been better; we chose a terrace in Seville with unbeatable views… Hotel Fontecruz Los Seises, right in the historic city centre.
We prepared luxury gift bags for our guests. We love putting together presents and we wanted to do something very special for everyone who came. We made white gift bags filled with a fragrant bunch of preserved lavender, our favourite violet flavoured sweets and a reminder of the sensational tastes created by Frank from the patisserie Ambrosius: a lavender and Tanzanian chocolate macaroon. Did we say something? It’s a true delicacy! It’s our favourite cake and this celebration wouldn’t be complete without it.
Pedro Adame, along with the team behind Adam Cocktails and El Traga, created delicious cocktails and mocktails. The work that Pedro and his guys do is out of this world; they’re highly professional and being able to count on them on a day that was so special for us was an absolute pleasure. Their cocktails went down a treat with the guests. As well as the drinks prepared by Adam Cocktails, we had Anna de Codorníu cava limited edition bottles designed by Rosa Clará. What better cava for the occasion? It’s our favourite and being able to enjoy Anna de Codorníu at our event made us so happy.
At the “Wedding Planner” book launch, we couldn’t be without a Candy Bar, the sweetest part of the event. To create this work of art, which looked wonderful, we turned to Elena from Ofelia Bakery. Her baked goods are delicious and a feast for the eyes. She made us a cake using the Weddings With Love colours which we adored. As well as the picture perfect cake, Elena baked mini cupcakes, mini brownies and canelés. A fantastic cake needs a Cake Topper to be truly breathtaking and for that, we looked to the very best: Knots Made With Love. Ana and her team made our #weddingplannerlibro topper for the celebration in record time. Counting on Knots Made With Love for the topper was a good move; everyone at the event knew the hashtag which they could then use when uploading photos to social media.
For the photos and video we counted on the collaboration of two great friends who saw us start as a business and who helped us from the very beginning, Alejandro Mármol and Michel Maraver. Alejandro, together with his team, took some stunning photographs; he knows us inside out and how to put a smile on our faces with his photos. Michel was in charge of creating a film of the celebration. We’re dying to see how it turned out!
The guys behind Risbox were responsible for endless laughter. We had one of their vintage machines and obviously we chose the one in nude pink. The photo booth was fabulous and we had a brilliant time taking hundreds of photos with the guests. If you have an upcoming event, you can’t be without this photo booth; without doubt, it takes centre stage at a party. Thank you Risbox!
Sara Lousame helped us with our outfits for the evening. Our friend works wonders with her hands and has exquisite taste, so we counted on her to make us look beautiful for the party. The company TCB were in charge of the music.
Being able to celebrate our event on the terrace of Hotel Los Seises was incredible. When dusk fell, we were able to enjoy a stunning sunset. It was a perfect temperature and the ambience was wonderful.
A huge thank you to everyone! This party wouldn’t have been the same without you!
